The admission process for new undergraduate students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya, consists of four entry paths. These four admission routes are:
- National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP), accessible through SNBP;
- National Selection Based on Test (SNBT), accessible through SNBT;
- Universitas Brawijaya Independent Selection (SMUB), accessible through SMUB;
- Independent Selection for Persons with Disabilities (SMPD), which is part of SMUB, accessible through SMPD.
The National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) is conducted based on academic achievement screening using report cards and students’ academic and non-academic achievements. The report cards used are from the first to the fifth semester for SMA/SMK/MA (high schools) with a three-year study period, or from the first to the seventh semester for SMK (vocational schools) with a four-year study period. The academic and non-academic achievements evaluated are the students’ three best accomplishments.
The management and processing of data for the SNBP selection route is carried out by the 2024 National Selection Committee for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) together with the Educational Testing Management Center (BPPP) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). SNBP participants are not charged any fees. The costs of organizing SNBP are fully borne by the government. For further information on accounts and registration, please visit the LTMPT website.
