The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia has once again opened up learning opportunities for students in the Kampus Merdeka, one of the programs in which is the Kampus Mengajar which provides students with real learning experiences through community service activities in schools in their respective areas starting from elementary school. as well as middle school. The program was well received by students of the Indonesian language and literature education study program, because the number of registrants for the Kampus Merdeka program reached one-third of the total students of the Indonesian language and literature education study program. Asri Kamila Ramadhani, as one of the students who passed the Kampus Mengajar selection shared her interest in participating in the Kampus Mengajar program “Kampus Merdeka has many programs, for that I take advantage of activities that are in accordance with this lecture activity to add experience as well as convert it into P4 activities at semester 7,” she said.
Asri also shared his experience during the selection process. Asri said that the selection stages and the obstacles that arose were very unexpected, therefore they had to be prepared carefully. The preparations can be in the form of searching for information about the Kampus Mengajar, or preparing the electronic devices used. Registrants can seek information from students who have attended kampus mengajar in the previous period, with this the registrant will get information so as not to feel confused. Participants can also prepare material that is tested at each stage of the selection, the material tested is very varied, ranging from numeracy literacy to national insight. In addition, preparing electronic devices and networks is also important in this selection, because the website that is used often experiences problems due to the large number of users accessing it. Participants are also required to comply with the rules during the exam so as not to have a fatal impact on the selection activities.
The selection stages that have been completed have produced good results for the registrants for the Kampus Mengajar, eleven students who have passed the selection from the 2019 and 2020 batches. All participants who have passed will carry out learning activities at schools that have been determined in their respective regions. Asri Kamila as one of the students assigned to Klaten Regency was happy because she had the opportunity to share knowledge with students in her area, Asri also expressed her hopes for friends who carry out Kampus Mengajar

“My hope is that my friends from Kampus Mengajar 4 and also P4 this can be given convenience and fluency, being able to complete all assignments from start to finish, being able to contribute significantly to the target school, being able to carry out a new work program that can be useful, because actually it is in our place to develop and engage in real, not just theory but this. it’s time for us to contribute. So please pray, hopefully what we are doing can be useful for all of us” she said.(vrd)
